The Managing Director of Salam TV and Salam Charity, Karim Kaliisa, has paid a courtesy visit to the office of Sam Mucunguzi Rwakigoba, Chairman of Ntungamo District, in a move aimed at strengthening ties and recognising service to the nation.
During the visit, Hajj Kaliisa congratulated Mucunguzi upon his election as Ntungamo District LCV Chairman and introduced him to the Smart Community Programme currently being implemented in Rwampara District.
Kaliisa also presented Mucunguzi with the Golden Jubilee Medal awarded by President Yoweri Museveni in recognition of his contribution to national development on behalf of Ntungamo District.
Mucunguzi thanked President Museveni for the recognition and also acknowledged the President’s decision to honour Kaliisa for his contribution to the country through Salam Charity and Next Media.
Hajj Kaliisa was received at Ntungamo District headquarters by District Vice Chairman Asuman Kigongo, who escorted him to the chairman’s office.
The visit concluded with photo moments at the Ntungamo District local government headquarters involving the LCV Chairman, the Vice Chairman, and members of the Salam Charity team led by Hajji Kaliisa.
